This season, I am grateful to God for everything. Everything. For his attention to details, for keeping me sane and safe. For the prayers he answers, and even the ones he will not. I am thankful that i can always rely on God and that is enough for me in these times. I am grateful that he still reminds that he has everything under control even in these times.

Thank you Ore for the kind reminder to always, and always put on an attitude of gratitude.

Another week, another stack☺️

Alright, let me adjust my seat to make my contributions😏

Talking about gratitude, one of my hobbies is listening to audio messages from Word ministers and from last week to today, I listened to two audio series from Andrew Wommack. One is titled Harnessing Your Emotions and the other is Hardness of Heart. They are both a 4 part audio series. One of the days, before listening to Harnessing your emotions, I was having a sense of regret and dissatisfaction in my heart for so many reasons and one of them being that I didn't capitalize on the the dollar to naira increase by buying the dollar when it was cheaper even though I knew before time that the dollar was going to shoot up against our dear naira. But something happened in the process.

After listening to one of the messages, I began to ask myself why I was in the state I was? And a thought came to me and this was it. The voice said to get a plain white paper, rule a line to make two columns. On the right column, let me write down the good things I am glad for and then on the left column, let me write down the negative things I am regretful of. My dear, I didn't even need to write on the physical white paper. In my mind, I did the writing. On the negative side, I could only think of two things to write but on the positive side, I kept adding to the list so much so that I even forgot the ones I had thought of and was repeating them.

You know when the scriptures says to bless the Lord oh my soul and not to forget His benefits...(Psalms 103:1-5) It's not just a Psalms but a deliberate effort. You have to make conscious decision to remember the good things He does continually for you. Imagine me being bad and depressed cos I missed out on the opportunity to make some money but there's someone somewhere in an hospital who needs more than #30million for a kidney transplant and operation. See, being grateful or being depressed is a choice. Imagine I was feeling depressed because of money but there's someone out there who can give out #100 million without a second thought just for him/her to have the good health that I have. May God forgive me.

When I was done with that series, I began to repent and consciously began being grateful. If not for anything but for the fact that I am alive and not just that but alive in good health.

Concerning the weather condition, the same thought you had, I had it too this week. When it's sunny, we complain of heat, when it's raining, we complain of cold, when there's harmattan, we complain of dust. We humans are just insatiable. It has been that way from the days of Adam and his wife Eve. They had a perfect garden and all they needed but they chose to focus on that one thing they were not permitted to have.

There are many other things to say along these lines but I guess I'll drop my pen here. To anyone reading this week's write, please I exhort you take conscious and deliberate decisions to be grateful and thankful to God. If not for anything, but for life. It's worth more than anything you're chasing. There's a quote that says "It's either you are grateful or you're a great fool." So choose today which you'll be. A grateful person or a great fool.

To our awesome writer, God bless you for yielding and taking time to write to us again. Today's write goes directly to the soul. I recommend anyone reading it to take a cup of hot tea whilst reading through so you can let It go all in.😉

P.S Bethel is a very fine girl, no doubt she'll make a interesting lady and a wonderful woman.😊🌹
